Georgia is one of the cheapest countries to live, as a matter of fact, it got the 7th place for The cheapest countries to live in 2016 according to MSN Lifestyle, it is also the 5th most affordable country to buy groceries in. Though Georgia is not as popular as others, its capital Tbilisi alone has a lot to offer (not to mention the other parts such as Gori, Gudauri - ski capital, etc.). From airfare, foods, to shopping and a lot more, I would definitely recommend Georgia to those who'd like to enjoy and get the luxury travel they wanted on a budget, specially for Philippine passport holders with GCC Residency. Starting off from the capital, here are some of the many things to do in Tbilisi. 1. Stroll around Rustaveli Avenue & Freedom Square Since this is the center of the city, you can find here a lot of shops from local to international brands. This is also where most of the cultural, business and governmental facilities are located. 2. Romantic and wander moment at the Peace Bridge and Rike Park Romantic spots? Georgia has a lot of that! Not just the country's ambiance, but everything in this old city. Wander moment that can also get romantic if you have your special someone with you, particularly in the Peace Bridge during night time. Every corner of Tbilisi feels romantic, and hope I could visit back with my better-half soon. 3. Ride the Cable Car One of the activities that you should not miss is to ride the cable car which connects the Rike Park on the left bank of Mtkvaru River and Narikala Fortress on the right, giving you a breathtaking city view of Tbilisi. A very memorable experience that will only cost you 1 GEL for one way! 4. Soul meditation in Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi Also known as Sameba, this is the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church. The cathedral is the third tallest Eastern Orthodox Cathedral and one of the largest religious buildings in the world. Natural materials were used for construction. The floor is made of marble tiles and the altar is decorated with mosaics. 5. Dry Bridge Souvenir Shopping The open-air flea market located at dry bridge is one of Georgia's pride and tourists' favorite place for souvenir shopping. You can find here good stuff of memorabilia. Also, a lot of items for sale such as antiques, hand made jewelries, porcelain, artsy portraits, silverware, furniture and more for personal keeps. Opens daily from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM. 6. Georgian 'Snickers' You should not leave Georgia without tasting or bringing home with you the famous churchkhelas or fondly called as Georgian 'snickers'. This is a traditional sausage-shaped candy that is a very popular food combining two of Georgia's favorites - grapes and nuts. The churchkhela originates from the Caucasus region, this costs 3-5 GEL each depending on the size. 7. Indulge yourself to Georgia's Sulfur Bath After your long days of exploring Georgia's capital, it's now time to give yourself a relaxing sulfur bath moment in one of the bath houses in the old city. Best accompanied with body massage and scrub for a cost of only 30-50 GEL an hour. You can find as well a love lock bridge and waterfall just 5-10 minutes walk from the sulfur bath houses. Just an additional tip: Since the old city is just small, it will be best explored by walk, plus it's a good means of exercise! ;-D

Tbilisi seems to be a beautiful city! I love your picture of Rustaveli Avenue. I had never considered traveling to Georgia though, but it was interesting your learn that you can get a luxury treat spending less than you would in other European countries!
