I am so fond of making plans ever since I was just a kid. Personally, I have already experienced this "travel planning" thing and is currently hands on in preparing future trips with my husband.
Planning for a travel is not that simple especially when you are up to out of the country trips. There are several things you have to consider and be aware of. The following things were based on my own experience which might be of help to you as well while planning and preparing for your next exciting and amazing trips.

When talking about traveling, money always matters as you have to spend for your air ticket, hotel, travel insurance, foods and etc., this is the main reason why a lot of people out there who dreamed to see the world were not able to make it. They are worried about where to get that big amount of money to finance their travel.
The dilemma stage. I myself was having this thought and concern as well, telling that it'll be impossible for me to make it. I was on crossroads. I faced the dilemma of whether to pursue traveling and take the risk of getting totally broke eventually, or stay in my office's chair having the assurance that I'll be compensated monthly. Then I suddenly realized; Why should I choose? Why not try to get the best of both worlds? The reality. How did I exactly overcome my fears and afford to proceed travelling? Through the helpful reviews and recommendations from TripAdvisor, I opted for Jordan Select Tours to take care of our Jordan vacation. I wanted to make everything well planned, hassle free and in order since it was our first out of the country leisure trip. The price was reasonable and the JST team (arranged by Ms. Ola Farraj) did an excellent job for me and Angelo (my husband). But what shaped our entire trip extra amazing, enjoyable and awesome, were the people whom we've met and made friends with; Mr. Ibrahim Smadi and his family (hospitable host), Mr. Firas Beool (temporary driver and Mr. Ibrahim's cousin), Mr. Fadi (airport representative), Mr. Hamdan (Wadi Rum driver), Mr. Ashraf (Petra guide) and Ms. Caroline Madi (Amman & Jerash guide).

Though the country has a lot to offer and requires at least 2 weeks to explore, you can maximize your escapade by using this route depending on your preferred arrangement. You can make it DIY kind of trip as well but I strongly suggest that you get a tour operator to help you all the way (will be a bit costly but worth it!). I and my husband’s 5 days visit to Jordan was intended for honeymoon. The original plan was to go to Turkey, but since I was not able to gather proper visa information on time, I have decided to shift to Jordan escapade instead (which turned out to be one of my best decisions) as we are eligible to acquire a visa upon arrival (Filipinos residing in GCC), with the help and excellent service from Jordan Select Tours.

Though I got the important infos, I was sure that they were just for the sake of those who have not yet experienced the real Jordan. Hence, I’ve jot down the list of some useful facts that everyone needs to know before meeting the ‘Land of Hills and Valleys’.
Vacation. Such a beautiful word. The exact way to keep yourself away from the stressful world of exertion.
Travel. Should be all about discovering the unknown, fun and lots of fun! Beach. Probably the last thing I would consider when planning for my vacation (that's just too boring, well, except for MALDIVES!). 'Am not the beach type person, but that doesn't mean I hate going to shorelines. I love salty water, white beach sands, seashells, starfishes, cottages, and of course, coconut tree shades. The thing is, I just don't like pretending that I miss summer and can't wait to do "beaching" when the reality is I get super paranoid particularly in open water: the sharks, poisonous jelly soft fishes and the mere fact that..

A friend of mine have informed me earlier that VOA (visa on arrival) in Jordan is not possible anymore as they have recently changed the rules. To avoid future problems with your planned trip, kindly check and confirm visa standing from the Jordanian Embassy in your country of residence. UPDATED: August 28, 2016 For Philippine passport holders, Jordan is a country that requires an immigration approval prior to travel. (Good news for GCC Residents) See also: JORDAN SELECT TOURS: OUR 5D4N ITINERARY I and my husband are currently arranging a visit to Jordan this coming November 2015, and as for our case (Filipinos holding a GCC Residency), after inquiring here and there, contacting the immigration in Amman and Jordan Embassy in Qatar, it was then confirmed that we are eligible for a visa upon arrival in Amman Queen Alia Airport Jordan provided we have the following documents / requirements: |
