Vacation. Such a beautiful word. The exact way to keep yourself away from the stressful world of exertion.
Travel. Should be all about discovering the unknown, fun and lots of fun! Beach. Probably the last thing I would consider when planning for my vacation (that's just too boring, well, except for MALDIVES!). 'Am not the beach type person, but that doesn't mean I hate going to shorelines. I love salty water, white beach sands, seashells, starfishes, cottages, and of course, coconut tree shades. The thing is, I just don't like pretending that I miss summer and can't wait to do "beaching" when the reality is I get super paranoid particularly in open water: the sharks, poisonous jelly soft fishes and the mere fact that..
..I CAN'T SWIM!
I am more into genuine adventures, something that will tickle me up to the bones. Something that will bring me back to the past and future, where I am able to collect stories that I can proudly share with to the next MEs and tell them, "I've been there and experienced that". I prefer to spend my travel visiting places that tells undying stories of history. Climb mountains and view the earth from its peak. Walk in safe streets and learn different cultures and way of living of the foreign and unfamiliar. That's much exciting, isn't it? My kind of sojourn. I trust that these will nourish my experience and help me see life in a more meaningful way rather than devoting my time in beaches doing the same old things over again. Travel not to impress, but to learn and discover new things.
