When my husband went back to Philippines to continue his studies in May 2016, there were a lot of occasions we failed to celebrate together, thus our Hong Kong & Macau visit was a perfect make up for all those lost times. All travels since I started my lakwatsa were done with a travel coordinator, then I decided to put everything in my hands when I planned for this trip. And because everything can now be done through internet, I did all the bookings online 2-3 months ahead. Even though this was the first DIY escapade we had, I'm glad that it turned out to be a successful and enjoyable experience. I will not give the full details of our expenses (I've lost track actually, lol!), but all in all (including airfare, shopping etc.), we spent a total of QAR5,000 (approximately PHP68,350 or USD1,375) for 2 pax. Travel dates: 21-25 October 2016 (peak season)
