Well, talking about budget, though Hong Kong has indeed a lot of cheap and affordable hostels and Inns, it sure won't get behind when it comes to luxury hotels that might drain your pockets. With a great help from Booking.com, here are some of the Best Luxury 5-Star Hotels in the country also known as the "Fragrant Harbour". Georgia is one of the cheapest countries to live, as a matter of fact, it got the 7th place for The cheapest countries to live in 2016 according to MSN Lifestyle, it is also the 5th most affordable country to buy groceries in. Though Georgia is not as popular as others, its capital Tbilisi alone has a lot to offer (not to mention the other parts such as Gori, Gudauri - ski capital, etc.).
From airfare, foods, to shopping and a lot more, I would definitely recommend Georgia to those who'd like to enjoy and get the luxury travel they wanted on a budget, specially for Philippine passport holders with GCC Residency. Starting off from the capital, here are some of the many things to do in Tbilisi. I started my 2016 travel adventure with 2 countries in 7 days by land just last January. It was indeed a new experience for me since my past travels were by plane. Good thing I have decided to join a group of friends' winter escapade to Georgia and Armenia for a change.
These Caucasian countries can be traveled via Sadakhlo-Bagratashen border between Georgia and Armenia. Our travel package consists of a private bus transportation during the entire trip (including the border crossing; Georgia-Armenia-Georgia). Most of the officers in both immigration points doesn't speak English, but luckily, Ms. Anika, our kind travel agent from Best Travel who's an Armenian local, accompanied us all through out the process. One of the typical issues we Philippine passport holders encounter when traveling out of the country is the necessity of acquiring a visa beforehand. We may have the advantage of visiting other countries without any need of security approval prior but it is only limited especially when it comes to entering European countries, and at times, processing for visa is not that simple.
I, together with a group of friends went for a winter escapade in Georgia and Armenia last January 2016. It was indeed an enjoyable trip having the privilege as well to enter both countries without any hassle. When talking about traveling, money always matters as you have to spend for your air ticket, hotel, travel insurance, foods and etc., this is the main reason why a lot of people out there who dreamed to see the world were not able to make it. They are worried about where to get that big amount of money to finance their travel.
The dilemma stage. I myself was having this thought and concern as well, telling that it'll be impossible for me to make it. I was on crossroads. I faced the dilemma of whether to pursue traveling and take the risk of getting totally broke eventually, or stay in my office's chair having the assurance that I'll be compensated monthly. Then I suddenly realized; Why should I choose? Why not try to get the best of both worlds? The reality. How did I exactly overcome my fears and afford to proceed travelling? If you desire to travel, remember to ask yourself this question, "Why do I need to travel?".
To be a traveler is easy, but becoming a better traveler requires sincerity and labor. You have to establish a reason, a purpose or a goal to accomplish. The more you want something to achieve, the more rewarding and meaningful your travel experience will be - it just takes a little bit of effort. Having said that and depending on my experiences so far, I am sharing my own personal guides on how to become a better traveler. Through the helpful reviews and recommendations from TripAdvisor, I opted for Jordan Select Tours to take care of our Jordan vacation. I wanted to make everything well planned, hassle free and in order since it was our first out of the country leisure trip. The price was reasonable and the JST team (arranged by Ms. Ola Farraj) did an excellent job for me and Angelo (my husband). But what shaped our entire trip extra amazing, enjoyable and awesome, were the people whom we've met and made friends with; Mr. Ibrahim Smadi and his family (hospitable host), Mr. Firas Beool (temporary driver and Mr. Ibrahim's cousin), Mr. Fadi (airport representative), Mr. Hamdan (Wadi Rum driver), Mr. Ashraf (Petra guide) and Ms. Caroline Madi (Amman & Jerash guide).

Though the country has a lot to offer and requires at least 2 weeks to explore, you can maximize your escapade by using this route depending on your preferred arrangement. You can make it DIY kind of trip as well but I strongly suggest that you get a tour operator to help you all the way (will be a bit costly but worth it!). For Philippine passport holders, this country doesn't require a visa prior to traveling. Though I got the important infos, I was sure that they were just for the sake of those who have not yet experienced the real Jordan. Hence, I’ve jot down the list of some useful facts that everyone needs to know before meeting the ‘Land of Hills and Valleys’. Jordan is one of the top ten largest contributors to UN Peacekeeping troops. In the midst of civil wars happening in other countries surrounding them, they have been greatly positive and hospitable offering refuge to thousands of refugees fleeing the Islamic State.
Despite of being considered to be the safest country in Middle East, Jordan's tourism has reduced to almost 90% since the turmoil started in its neighbor countries. When news about the Lebanon and Paris attacks emerged just this November 2015, a lot of foreigners, tourists and travelers mainly Europeans have cancelled their trips which caused the country's tourism to fall down even more.
